Section 32
Penalty Punishment

(1) Landlord or any person acting on his behalf:-
(a) if a Mohi is forcibly removed or evicted from his customary land by any means other than by order of a court or village or municipality in accordance with this paragraph, or
(b) If the Mahi is removed from his customary land by fraud or deceit or in any other dishonest manner, the person who does so shall be fined Rs. A fine of up to ten thousand will be … … ….
(2) If the court finds the land owner guilty under sub-section (1), the following directions shall also be issued in the name of the land owner:-
(a) that the Mohi be granted a re-occupation of the said land, and
(b) If the land owner has removed or expelled the mohi by illegal means, he should pay damages according to the mohiboti that can be eaten in the case that the land of the mohi has been maintained.
(3) If any person contravenes any of the provisions of sub-section (5), (7) or (8) of section 26, he shall, by order of the prescribed authority, be fined Rs. There will be a fine of up to five thousand and the court may also pay compensation to the landowner from those who violate sub-section (5).
(4) If any person obstructs or opposes the work of preparing the register under section 30 or does not comply with any duty to be performed in accordance with this Act or the rules or orders under this Act, he shall be fined Rs. The fine will be from ten thousand to twenty five thousand.
(5) From five thousand to twenty-five thousand to the land owner who does not give notice according to clauses (b) and (c) of the restrictive phrase of sub-section (1) of section 26 and section 26A. Violators of Mohi will be fined Rs. A fine of up to three thousand can be imposed by the designated authority and the purchase and sale will automatically be cancelled.
